IE 200 Peer Mentor Applications
The IE 20000 Instructional Staff is looking for students to serve as IE 20000 Mentors for the Spring 2025 semester. This is a great opportunity for students to hone their mentoring and professional skills, give back to the School of IE, and learn more about themselves!
- Attend mandatory mentor training on January 12th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm EST (on campus);
- Attend four IE 20000 classes to facilitate discussions (without missing their own class). IE 20000 will be held on Thursdays from 1:30pm – 2:20pm;
- January 16 – Course Welcome and Meet-Your-Mentor
- January 30 – Self-Assessments and Resumes (Mentor Discussion #1)
- February 27 – Job Searches and Cover Letters (Mentor Discussion #2)
- April 17 – Plans of Study and Lessons Learned (Mentor Discussion #3)
- Grade discussion pre-work and track attendance for Mentor Discussions; and
- Assist mentees throughout the semester.
To apply, please complete the following information by December 6th to be considered for early application. Decisions will be communicated to applicants before December 13th.
