SIAM Student Conference at Purdue, Saturday, April 13
A message from student chapter president Tong Ding:
As the president of the SIAM Student Chapter at Purdue, I am excited to announce that we are organizing a SIAM Student Conference for graduate students, which will take place on April 13th this year, at the Math Building, Room 175. The conference will include 30-minute talks followed by a 5-minute Q&A.
We’re open to submissions that match the SIAM journal’s focus, such as applied mathematics, computational science, and data science. Everyone’s welcome to join us as audience members too! If you are interested in presenting your work, please note the following important dates: Deadline for Registration: March 22; Abstract and Title Submission: April 6th.
Moreover, we are thrilled to offer a special incentive: the top three presenters, determined by the audience, will each receive a $25 Starbucks gift card, acknowledging their outstanding contributions to the conference. Plus, refreshments will be provided for all the attendees.
