About the Role:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Supply Chain Intern to support sourcing, cost analysis, material planning, and supplier execution activities. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong engineering or operations background who are interested in understanding how hardware products scale from prototype to mass production.
You will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, and Quality to help improve cost visibility, supply continuity, and execution efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Support cost analysis and should-cost modeling for mechanical and electrical components
2. Build and maintain Excel tools for BOM cost rollups, PPV tracking, and supplier comparisons
3. Assist with supplier RFQs, quote analysis, and vendor benchmarking
4. Support material planning activities including demand forecasting and supply risk analysis
5. Help track KPIs such as lead time, OTD, cost variance, and inventory turns
6. Participate in cross-functional meetings and document action items and follow-ups
7. Support data cleansing and ERP system updates as needed
8. Conduct market research on commodities, materials, and supply trends

Basic Qualifications:
1. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
- Mechanical Engineering (ME)
- Electrical Engineering (EE)
- Industrial Engineering (IE)
- Supply Chain Management
- Operations / Manufacturing Engineering
2. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic modeling required)
3. Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
4. Detail-oriented and structured thinker
5. Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
