Student Worker Positions Open for IE (Summer 2026)
The Edwardson School of Industrial Engineering is hiring student workers for the Summer 2026 term. These positions can be remote and work up to 20 hours a week. All deliverables are needed by August 2026.

Project Descriptions
- Communications:
Goal: Assist the department Communications Specialist with developing video and media content.
- Payment: $12/hour
- Skills Needed: Experience with video/photography preferred.
- AI study tool development:
Goal: To build out AI-tools to provide additional support for the core IE classes.
- Payment: $12/hour
- Course Skills Needed: IE 33200
- Data Analytics:
Goal: Provide data analysis for various areas of the department.
- Payment: $12/hour
- Course Skills Needed: IE 23000, IE 33000
- Scheduling Optimization project:
Goal: To identify a model that would allow every COE student at Purdue in Indianapolis to have 8-10 hours of time per week free (“work blocks”) to pursue experiential learning outside of the classroom.
